Wigan could face a possible away tie at local non-league side Macclesfield if we can beat Bournemouth in the third round replay.
The fourth round draw has been made, and Wigan could face another possible banana skin, that is if we overcome our own current one. We have a third round replay to contend with first as we head to Dean Court to try and win passage to the fourth round. That tie will be played mid-week in the next two weeks.
If Latics win, then we face a 30 minute trip down the M6 to face non-league Maccasfield who have been opponents we have faced many times over our years in the lower divisions of English football. Such a tie would be good for either side, if Wigan can first beat the Cherries.
