We continue our count down to this weekends game, with our own away visit. The guys over at Roker Report, are great, one of out own SB Nation sites, and I am glad to say that Dan Williams has supplied me with some answers to my questions ahead of this weekends game.

Injury Report: Antolin Alcaraz and Franco Di Santo to miss Sunderland

Both player can now be confirmed out (the match report you may have read suggested Di Santo's possible inclusion, that was written last night!) they will miss the game both through muscular strains. Antolin Alcaraz has missed over three weeks of Wigan football, and since returning from international duty has had a groin injury. The latest reports suggest we will have to march on without the defender, as he is still another week away.

Match Preview: Sunderland vs Wigan Athletic

We don't have any local teams left in the Premier League, the closest thing that Wigan now have to a local derby could be on of the two trips we make into Liverpool (Everton). Yet there are teams that across the country, we Wigan fans look forward to playing in the hope of beating them. One such team, was West Ham United. It may not be a fierce rivalry like the Glasgow derby, but its better than nothing.
