N'Zogbia for Three, Rods Lights Up

Charles N'Zogbia

Aston Villa have made an offical approach for the player which is believed to be in region of £9- 10 million. The offer has been rejected with Whelan wanting at least £12 million for the player.

It was also believed that Everton were on the verge of making a move for Charlie. The offer was said to be a three player switch deal, with the Latics receiving Yakubu, Anichebe and Yobo.

Hugo Rodallega

The player himself confirmed that Arsenal have had interest in him, also believed that Stoke may now turn their attention to the player having lost out on Carlton Cole. A deal in the region of £9 million could see the player leave Wigan.

Darren Gibson

Out of favor Gibson turned down the chance to go to Sunderland, and has been left out of United tour of the USA. The papers today suggest that Ferguson has told Martinez that he can have Gibson on loan for next season, instead of taking Tom Cleverly back.

Antonio Amaya

The Spanish defender looks set to make a move to Real Betis. Having spent last year on loan having not being able to make the cut at Wigan, Real Betis have made an offer in the region of £250,000 which has been accepted for the player.

Nelson Valdez

The Paraguay striker came close to moving to England last season, but at the final minute made the switch to Hercules instead. One year last and Hercules are no longer in Spain's top flight and the player wants out. Latics have reportedly approached the club with an offer of £4 million.

Angel Lafita

The 26-year old winger could be the replacement for Charles N'Zogbia. we have been following the player for the past six months and look set to make a bid for the player in the coming week. However we could face competition for the player from Fulham and Bolton.

Gibson didn’t turn SAFC down, he wanted too much cash so SAFC dropped their interest.

Yes to a degree, but he was offered a contract still with ‘high wages’ but just less than what he was on at United and turned down that contract.
